Calitzdorp is situated on Route 62.  If you are travelling from Cape Town towards Port Elizabeth you should visit this beautiful area.  From George you turn inland towards the ostrich capital of South Africa (Oudtshoorn) where you can also visit the famous Cango caves. Places you can visit in Calitzdorp are the Dutch Reformed Church, the Gamka valley, three of the most well-known wine cellars - Boplaas, Die Krans and Calitzdorp Wine Cellar.
